The PGN Arts studio is located in BERNAPARK on the site of the former cardboard factory
The Story:
In 1876, Ulrich Joerg founded a cardboard factory on the Deisswil site, which flourished for a long time and shaped the townscape of Stettlen.
In early 2010, Karton Deisswil AG was closed due to the difficult market. All 253 employees at the time were laid off.
In the same year, Karton Deisswil AG was renamed Bernapark AG (originally Berna Industrie- und Dienstleistungspark AG). Since then, the Bernapark has been on the way to becoming a modern model quarter with a unique combination of work and living, education and leisure, culture and innovation.
